Program areas at OCCF

Distributions were made to various charitable recipients in the greater Oklahoma City area. Programs included "ifund" grants which support access to basic and preventive health care, provides access for children to mainstream services despite physical, mental or economic circumstances, and programs supporting elderly independent living. The "fund for okc" also provides grants which address issues in the Community as they arise. In addition the margaret annis boys trust continued to support grants that beautify public land, with an emphasis on projects located in public parks. A new initiative was launched in 2014 to promote the integration of physical activity, good nutrition and other healthy lifestyle choices into the daily routines of children and adults living in Oklahoma county.
The Oklahoma City Community Foundation's "charitable organization endowment" (coe) program is the Community's leading advocate for endowment development and has over 40 years of experience in effective endowment administration. The Foundation provides services and resources that add value to the more than 350 organizations participating in the coe program, with the goal of providing these charities the opportunity to strengthen their organizations.
The Oklahoma City Community Foundation supports scholarship initiatives that encourage students to attain the highest level of education and training. Our initiatives include the "occf scholars" program for students who excel in areas other than gpa; the "Foundation of promise" program for students who will be the first in their family to attend college; the "Oklahoma youth with promise" program designed for children in foster care; the "non-traditional student" program for adults re-entering college and the "nurse education" program to assist nursing students at five local hospitals.
