Leveraging resources, building collaborative partnerships, and advocating for opportunities, United Way is a catalyst for innovative learning and creative programs that nurture child development, spearhead educational enrichment, and support services and initiatives that strengthen families. Our key programatic focuses include 1) Nurturing Early Learners through Early Development and Learning for Young Children, 2)Creating Education Enrichment Opportunities that foster Student Achievement, 3) Igniting STEM Education & Career Development opportunities, and 4) Strengthening Families Increasing Access to Information, Resources, and Services.
United Way of Mercer County has partnered with regional school districts to offer afterschool programs as a strategic goal to improve academic achievement, increase access to STEM Education, and expand learning opportunities.
