Uw-Platteville Real Estate Foundation

The Real Estate Foundation managed the development of a residence hall, rountree commons, which was put into use at the end of august 2012. The Real Estate Foundation contracted a third party to manage the daily operations of rountree commons after construction was completed. A second residence hall, bridgeway commons, was constructed and put into use in august 2013. The Real Estate Foundation leased bridgeway commons to the university of Wisconsin - platteville and all daily operations of the residence hall are managed by the university. Both buildings support the activities of Uw-Platteville primarily as housing. The operations also include food services and parking. The Real Estate Foundation rents space to the university in rountree commons for a small cafe and a small parking lot. During the summer months, rountree commons also provides housing for camps and conferences sponsored by the university.
